Editorial Standards & Code of Ethics
Effective date: 23 June 2026
These standards govern all editorial content published by Kitalpha Finance — a product of Kitalpha Enterprise, a registered business name of D & W Investment and Consulting Group Pty Ltd (ACN 677 106 268, ABN 71 677 106 268), Brisbane, Australia. They explain what readers can expect from our reporting and analysis, and how we hold ourselves accountable.
1. Factual and source-based
We prioritise primary sources — official statistics, regulatory filings, central-bank releases and company disclosures — over second-hand commentary. Claims of fact are attributable to a verifiable source. Where data is delayed, modelled, or estimated, we say so. We do not publish rumour, and we distinguish clearly between established fact, reasonable inference, and opinion.
2. Neutral and impartial
Our analysis is written to inform, not to persuade. We present material facts even when they cut against a popular narrative, avoid promotional or sensational language, and do not write to favour any issuer, platform, sponsor, or asset. We do not engage in pay-for-coverage: editorial content is never sold, and advertising or commercial relationships never determine what we cover or the conclusions we reach.
3. General information only — not financial advice
Kitalpha Finance provides general financial information, market data, and educational resources. Nothing we publish is financial product advice, and nothing is personalised advice. Our content is prepared without regard to any individual reader’s objectives, financial situation, or needs. Before acting on anything you read here, you should consider its appropriateness to your circumstances and seek advice from an appropriately licensed financial adviser (AFS licensee). Every article carries a standardised General Information Disclaimer to this effect.
4. Named human authorship
Every article is attributed to a named human author with a public biography and verifiable credentials. We do not publish anonymous or pseudonymous financial content, and we do not present machine-generated text as the work of a person. Author pages set out each writer’s qualifications and areas of expertise — see, for example, Daniel Zhang. Credentials are stated factually and are never overstated.
5. Human editorial review
Before publication, each piece is reviewed by a human editor for factual accuracy, sourcing, neutrality, and compliance with these standards — in particular, that it remains general information and does not stray into personal advice. Productivity tools (including software that assists with research or drafting) may be used, but a named human author and a human reviewer are accountable for the final content. Material is not published on the strength of an automated process alone.
6. Independence and conflicts of interest
We disclose material conflicts of interest relevant to a topic. Authors do not trade against the views expressed in their own coverage (and we publish information, not recommendations). Commercial, advertising, and subscription relationships are kept separate from editorial judgement.
7. Accuracy, updates and corrections
We aim to get things right the first time and to fix them promptly when we don’t. Articles show a publication date and, where applicable, a “last updated” date. Errors are handled transparently under our Corrections Policy.
8. Expertise and accountability (E-E-A-T)
Because we publish in a “Your Money or Your Life” field, we hold our content to a high standard of expertise, experience, authoritativeness and trustworthiness. That means real authors, real credentials, real sources, and a clear line of accountability back to the publisher named above.
9. Contact
Questions about these standards, or feedback on a specific article, can be sent to research@dwkitalpha.com. To report an error, please see our Corrections Policy.
